Well...this is a bit awkward... It's like I'm at a job interview and I'm asked to tell a little about myself. The difference is I'll probably tell the truth this time. I would like to start out by congratulating myself on getting hundred percent on Guitar Hero just now!!! (Coincidentally that is exactly how I would answer if I was on a job interview) Moving on, we just celebrated one week in Chicago and I must say it was "Obama-rific". Still microwave-less but the conventional oven seems to be working just fine...sort of.
My day consists of waking up 20 minutes before my alarm goes off (just long enough that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the sleep if I fell back asleep) every morning to a cat doing laps around the apartment at full speed...with no regard for whatever, or whoever, her fat-ass lands on. I was squirting her with a water gun to shut her up for a few days until she figured out how to stand in front of the x box...cant risk squirting the water. I then brush my teeth, think about working out, and then I hop in a phone booth and change into the Tooth Wizard! A magical character who travels from elementary school to elementary school teaching kids how to brush, floss, and practice proper oral hygiene.
Later on in the evening I transform back into Nick D. the comedian/magician/Vh1 fan. I'm probably going to have to write another blog about how much I hate Real Chance of Love... and also how much I hate myself for the time I've spent watching it. I stay inside due to the extreme cold outside...I started wearing underwear because of it. Good news is I think most of the homeless migrated south...have fun St. Louis. I'll miss you soon...It's still been too soon, I'm having too much fun so it still seems like a vacation...It'll hit me soon I'm sure.
I really don't have much else to go over yet, this is a practice run for future blogs. Now this almost feels like a 500 word essay that was assigned to me and now I'm trying to find filler to take up the rest. I suppose I could change the font, that might make it look longer from here on, Oh I should probably BOLD it too...nevermind, that did nothing.
What have I learned since I've moved? 1. You eat less when you pay for it. 2. You sleep less when you have a real job. 3. I use elipsis (...) way too much. 4. Always keep matches in the bathroom. And 5. I really miss my folks. Thanks for reading...I'll be posting a lot more possibly offensive stuff later. Thank you.
